The Middle Ground Between the Jacobs 2 and JS Helleberg

The 4023 was designed specifically to fill the space between two of CHI Brass's most popular Helleberg designs: the Jacobs 2 and JS Helleberg.

• It combines the comfortable Jacobs 2 rim with an inner diameter larger than the Jacobs 2 but smaller than the JS.
• The cup shape is derived from the JS, while the throat and backbore come from the Jacobs 2.

The result is a mouthpiece that merges the large, burly tonal characteristics of the JS with the responsiveness, flexibility, and low-register growl of the Jacobs 2.

CHI Brass 4023 Heavyweight

The 4023 Heavyweight retains the internal design of the standard 4023 while adding the CHI heavyweight shell.

It is intended for players who like the balance between the Jacobs 2 and JS provided by the 4023 but want additional tonal density and stability, particularly at higher dynamic levels.
