The CHI Brass JCS Helleberg was created based on a request from five of our past customers. All of them loved the sound of the JS Hellebergs they had purchased but also appreciated the rim design from the Floyd Cooley models they owned or had played on. These customers approached us to see if we could combine these features, and the results were outstanding.

If you love the sound of our JS Helleberg but prefer a more rounded rim, the JCS is the perfect choice for you. As an added bonus, the rounded rim design shifts the high point slightly further from the inner rim edge, effectively providing a slightly wider ID in the low and middle registers.
