Available Depths

The Eon Series comes in two depths:

• Eon D: Designed for 4/4 or bigger contrabass tubas, this model allows for a great deep, powerful sound.
• Eon S: Designed around large bass tubas, but also works very well for some contrabass tubas where more articulation is needed.

Backbores

• TU1: The most resistant, allowing for excellent slotting on very “open playing” instruments and confident slotting in the high registers.
• TU3: The most open, allowing for ease of airflow. Great for large ensembles on most instruments and works well for bass tubas with a resistant low register.
• TU2 or TU3: Recommended for most large ensemble settings.
• TU1 and TU2: Ideal for solo or quintet work, depending on the resistance of your instrument.
